as an aside an interesting rough calculation of personal gain;
MFG, 2 founder shareholders seem to own around 18%, worth $400m or so at current prices.
PTM, founders held 100% of the company and floated it with a value of $2.8bn and now capped at $4bn. So the founders made off with perhaps around $3.5bn.
Obviously these numbers can change but the gap is awesome..
Looked at the other way, MFG has been much better for those shareholders who have been lucky enough to be on board...but in the shoes of Hamish and Chris I would still have dreams about what might have been....
