Lets face it banks are greedy b$$stards who will squeeze out a $ where ever they can so long as it is safe to do so.
So I think it is wise that the market is justifiably spooked when bankers pull out of a profitable sector all together due to new regulatory risk.
I would of thought that Westpac are in an outstanding position to understand all the risk so one should not take lightly their decision to bail out.
