WTI is now clear of $100 and is less than $2 short of Brent. That could be helping sentiment as well as the increased value of USD vs AUD profits.
We are that much closer to hearing the results of the 2 operated wells and MRO has aQ2 2013 conference call scheduled for August 7 so we might find out a bit more about their proposed drilling schedules.
The ASX is up generally and AUT is an index stock.
The recovery in SP, boosted by positive noises from the brokers, is not too surprising.
