Watch it fly on Monday - my mail is that with the drop in the Aussie dollar there will be a lot over overseas funds heading back in. By the end of the week I expect $7.30 to $7.50.
Before the US dollar started its fall a lot of overseas (mainly USA super funds) money was coming into Argo shares. In the first half of this year that slowed significantly.
Argo is now heading back up to the $8 mark by Christmas (providing the Aussie banks don't have too many more nasty suprises). The share price will head back up in advance of a recovering net asset backing.
For those that took the opportunity to buy in recent times the yield looks pretty good for Argo.
