Morning
Just heard the report on sky business that ncm is looking to offload its most liquid asset being its major stake in evn, that indicates to me that the debt load in usd with the aud falling so far is sparking action.
Sales of telfer etc are obviously not going to go off and they are going for thier most liquid asset postentially
Flagging the sale of assets still in escrow really suprises me, sounds like a measure required from a stressed balance sheet.
Rates in usa which have been debated all year are confirmed to be lifted in 2015 according to yellon last week, the first real confirmation. this also drains aud cash as usd servicing costs will be rising as the base rate on thier variable portion will be rising.
Risk of some sort of capital raising to address this situation is rising imo.
Should be a good day though, everyone very excited over equities.
Good luck
