rafton, CHN doesn't have the volume for daytraders but does sometimes have a run which would allow a person trading over a period of a few days to pull off a nice 10-20% or more, which is a return which I'm happy to grab in that timeframe. Just gotta be patient and watch for those opps. On a longer short term trade of say 2-3 months, I am very optimistic about where this will go from now until the end of the year.
I'm thinking that eventually my trading profits will pay off my initial capital on my investment parcels so I'll be free carry.
Each to their own. It all depends on what you're looking for in your short term trades. But really most longer term stocks or investment stocks do also provide shorter term opportunities if you look for them. For example, lots of insto traders trade the likes of BHP.
