IAG at $7.00 in 12 mths - whilst i'd love to see it i seriously doubt it. They have tried to do a QBE by attempting to grow outside Aus. They have had nowhere near the success. Growth options in Aus are limitied due to fierce competition and if Hawker's comments re premium increases in the near term are followed through, IAG will loose more business before the insurance premium cycle in Aus turns.
There is a reasonable chance that QBE are again looking over IAG. There are many market rumours. I don't beleive they would have the huge ACCC problems that many predict. Frank's last "big buy" before retirement......???????
