Mac Bank are not in the business of accepting shares as payment in lie of cash. While you or I may accept shares a Mac Bank loan officer is not about to put his head on the chopping block when he has nothing to gain.
The Camif dividend was paid as shares as this is what the agreement says. Until such time that PGI have met all their commitments to Mac Bank plus 5M in the bank they cannot make a cash Payment to Camif.
