I like your SJS (Sudden Jihad Syndrome) a lot, but I prefer the TINI FHOILS (This Is Not Islam Forget How Obvious It Looks Syndrome) acronym, because it goes close to explaining the phenomenon without needing to know what the acronym stands for and it also supports apologists' assertions that demand perpetrators of such acts cannot be true Muslims (regardless of whether they were once Muslims or never Muslims and regardless of the obviousness of it all).
