There were some nice new drilling results in the quarterly from Lode 1 at depth and some new figures that show what it looks like. Well worth a look.
"186m @ 0.5% Cu, 2.9% Zn, 0.6g/t Au, 50.0 g/t Ag, incl 72m @ 4.4% Zn, 0.3g/t Au, 58.1g/t Ag, and 15m @ 3.8% Cu, 1.9 g/t Au, 120.6 g/t Ag, 1.5% Zn (BDH1027)
29m @ 2.5% Cu, 1.2% Zn, 0.6g/t Au (BDH1031)
157m @ 0.3% Cu, 3.8% Zn, 0.6g/t Au, 38.4g/t Ag, plus 13m @ 2.5% Cu, 0.4g/t Au, 39.6 g/t Ag (BDH1032)
Drillhole BDH1027 returned a total massive sulphide intercept of 186m at 0.65g/t Au, 50.0 g/t Ag, 0.48% Cu, 2.91% Zn from 255 to 441m downhole. This included a high grade zinc zone of 72m at 4.39% Zn, 0.33g/t Au, 58.1g/t Ag that directly overlies a copper-gold zone of 15m at 3.84% Cu, 1.88 g/t Au, 120.6 g/t Ag, 1.45% Zn. The results from BDH1027 are considered to be significant as they indicate that the zinc mineralization is higher grade and remains wider than modeled, and shows that Lode 1 can host high grade copper. The high grade copper intersected in this hole is outside of the current resource model.
Drillhole BDH1030 intersected high grade copper mineralisation from 215 to 244m downhole, 29m at 0.61g/t Au, 28.2g/t Ag, 2.48% Cu, 1.21% Zn including 14m at 0.78g/t Au, 36.2g/t Ag, 4.42% Cu and 0.84% Zn from 230m to 244m downhole. This copper zone lies outside of the current resource model.
Drillhole BDH1031 intersected moderate grade copper mineralization giving 28.4m at 0.52g/t Au, 31.5g/t Ag, 1.61% Cu and 2.28% Zn from 131.45m downhole. This intersection confirms the current resource grades for this area.
Drillhole BDH1032 was collared 50m along strike from BDH 1027. It intersected two zones of mineralization. The upper zone gives 13m at 0.43g/t Au, 39.6g/t Ag, 2.47% Cu and 0.25% Zn from 354m downhole. The second zone gives 157m at 0.41g/t Au, 38.4g/t Ag, 0.26% Cu and 3.75% Zn from 378m to 535m downhole. This 157m massive sulphide intersection included two zones of higher grade zinc mineralisation; 42m at 5.17% Zn, 0.20g/t Au, 30.3 g/t Ag from 441m depth, and 45m at 0.49% Cu, 3.42% Zn, 0.90g/t Au, 59.27 g/t Ag from 490m to 535m downhole. These intersections lie down plunge of the current resource model.
