Savina 1 Drilling Progress
Geodynamics is pleased to announce that Savina 1 is progressing well with depth
now at 2,330 metres in the 406 mm diameter hole. Since the last update, the 473 mm
casing was set to a depth of 580 metres before drilling recommenced in the 406 mm
diameter hole.
The planned total depth is 4,300 metres however the well may be deepened to
further evaluate the granite reservoir in the Savina region. The Savina 1 well site is
located approximately 10 km WSW of Jolokia 1, and 19 km W of Habanero 3.
Innamincka 1 MW Power Plant
The construction of the Turbine Hall and Visitor Centre is progressing well.
Commissioning of the 1 MW Power Plant is planned for early 2009.
Closed Loop Flow Test Update
Geodynamics is pleased to announce that the refurbished circulation pump is enroute
to the Cooper Basin from the Schlumberger workshop in Singapore. The
commissioning of the pump is expected to commence in the next two weeks
following delivery and installation.
The company expects to resume the closed loop flow test immediately after the
completion of the commissioning.
As previously advised, the flow test is scheduled to run continuously for a period of
six weeks. Upon completion of this test, the results will be subject to a period of
external review and validation. A successful validation will mark the completion of
Stage One of the Company’s business plan i.e. ‘Proof of Concept’.
