even in that chart, the link is not proportional, just directional. when copper is in uptrend, so are we, but the gains vary, and vice versa.
really, all it says is that if copper goes for another bull run, we will have some more wind up our sails, which is logical, but has occasionally been disputed on these threads.
the closure of the Vedanta facility in India at a time when copper demand has increased locally will also likely help this along...35% of domestic copper supply now needs to be covered elsewhere.
