You would think so but today's market was a high beta market with domestic cyclicals very strong. Unfortunately CSL like Telstra is used as a funding vehicle especially by instos to buy cyclicals. Just look at Telstra: solid results but down in a strong market.
The market got bullish on the Fed's timeline for quantitative easing i.e. US economy bottoming. However with such strong rises in the cyclicals you wonder when some of the defensives like CSL will have to be bought.
