My experience with leaders is that people even like the bad ones for awhile, as long as they are decisive, committed and direct. They thought Hitler was great in 1936.
What most people hate is weak wishy-washy indecision, trying to please everyone, and most of all motherhood statements without a plan of putting it into practice.
