Well, I for one welcome BHP's bad news. I think MRE has been punished for reasons not of its own and when the gas does come on full stream again in a couple of months, the nickel price will be higher. The market will take whatever nickel MRE will produce, might even make up for the loss of production as a result of the gas outage. Does anyone know if MRE was producing nickel to capacity or is there anymore capacity that they can crank up when gas returns?
