    I'm no geo but basically my understanding is the coarser the grain size is the less power consumption you use to process the ore to get your recoveries. Hence operating expenses will reduce significantly.

    I think the important thing to gauge from that announcement is the fact that the OPEX & CAPEX are going to be "significantly" reduced. How significant this is I am not sure. I remember them quoting figures in a presentation for Mt Cannindah that

    CAPEX = $80 million
    OPEX = $41 / tonne

    and that they would be looking at treating 1 million tonnes of ore.

    JORC should be coming out this month hopefully then we can plug some figures in for what its worth
