With this kind of baffling nonsense being sprouted is it any wonder HCers are questioning the mental stability of this poster?

Are they so ignorant of the concrete industry, or industries in general, that they believe random people just wake up one day and decide 'You know what, I'm going to spend the next 2 years and a large amount of money on lab testing, long-term field trials and research writing an independent paper on say...EdenCrete and then release the paper for free just for the hell of it.'?

And do they believe the NSW Dept of Transport would give a damn about such a paper?

Do they believe that the NSW Dept of Transport hires people to scroll through the latest scientific research and would use EdenCrete based on Prof Collins in-depth analysis of the fundamental principles underlying EdenCrete's attributes?

Do they believe that the NSW Dept of Transport would use a new technological advancement before seeing how it performs for at least a couple of years? Well, I guess they do. They don't register that the uptake is actually pretty darn good considering the conservative market. 5 yrs is still in it's infancy with regards to market penetration, not 'failed, next'.

This is how it works. The NSW Dept of Transport joins such societies (see below) to keep abreast of the latest developments. They send their engineers and decision makers to these conferences. The information is behind a 'paywall'. That membership gives them access to just this, practical technical analysis of anything to do with the industry.

    This is what sells EdenCrete to the NSW Dept of Transport;

"Presentation by Edencrete Enhanced performance of Concrete with the Use of Carbon Nanotube Enriched Liquid Additive from Sydney Forum 21 October 2019

Edencrete produce concrete utilising carbon nanotubes with this presentation offering
    • Introduction to Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs)
    • How do CNTs work in concrete and are they safe?
    • Georgia Department of Transport: Durability and Abrasion
    • Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transport Authority (MARTA): Permeability
    • CNT replacing cementitious in pozzolanic mixes: Strength
    • Korean Durability Study: Crack resistance and shrinkage reduction"
EDE is now a member of a variety of such Associations. And they are representing constantly. With such long-term practical data that is needed to be taken seriously.

    The ASCP is;

"Founded in October 2007, the Australian Society for Concrete Pavements (ASCP) is an Australian not-for-profit organisation which aims to facilitate improvements in the design, construction and quality of concrete pavements in Australia through education, technology transfer and research."

    "WHAT ASCP DOES

    FORUMS, CONFERENCES & WORKSHOPS
Typically four forums are held in Sydney, three in Brisbane and three in
Melbourne each year. Additionally, we hold a two-day biennial conference,
with international presenters on strategic topics – these usually have over
150 delegates and 30 presentations. A workshop on strategic topics follows
the conference, with additional special topic workshops throughout the year.
Ample networking opportunities are programmed into each event.

    TRAINING COURSES
Courses for engineers and field staff are conducted, including the TfNSW Concrete Paving Crew
Training (Grey Card). Since its commencement in 2006, there have been over 180 courses training some
4,000 paving crew personnel. Also offered are courses in paving practices, jointing, and specifications.
Courses are held along the eastern seaboard, subject to demand.
    TECHNICAL ADVOCACY
Interaction with client authority decision makers and advisors on cost and performance attributes
of concrete pavements. Active projects include road pavement construction and maintenance costs,
performance, concrete overlays for major road rehabilitation projects, concrete pavements for airfields,
intermodals and ports, and road pavement noise.
    NEW TECHNOLOGY & RESEARCH
Identify the need for new technology. Access to international organisations to source new technologies.
Supported at biennial conferences through invited international presenters. Identify research topics,
encourage and facilitate research, and promote research findings. Actively encourage students to
present their papers at ASCP events as part of their professional development.
    REPRESENTATION TO CLIENTS
Regular liaison with TfNSW and Austroads about technical issues, pavement technology and guide
documents. ASCP encourages input from members to identify and propose improvements on technical
    issues.
TECHNICAL RESOURCES, INDUSTRY WORKGROUPS & NEWS
Workgroups are established as required for specific issues such as future road projects, concrete
airfield pavements, concrete road pavement maintenance, and joint sealants. ASCP Pavement Notes
and papers, ASCP forum presentations and conference presentations are made available to members
on the ASCP website, as is a monthly newsletter which includes links to new technical reports, inter/
national outcomes, conferences and events, and people and company news.
    INTERNATIONAL AFFILIATIONS
Established liaisons with international associations, relevant corporate organisations (including
consultants, paving equipment manufacturers, client authorities, academic institutions), and
international professionals in strategic fields. This includes discussion groups which seamlessly connect
members from EUPave, ISCP and ASCP."

    And let me just repeat this relevant part;

    "TRAINING COURSES
Courses for engineers and field staff are conducted, including the TfNSW Concrete Paving Crew
    Training (Grey Card). "

Once again, congratulations EDE for this marketing gold award.
