    IMO, the buy-back is a net purchase, it thus has a positive effect on the SP. Particularly, if there is a substantial holder exits, the buy-back can absorb the selling which otherwise will push the SP down south. Buying back at price under the "real value/cash-backing/NTA" will benefit for long-term share holders.
