Yes, my understanding is if you own any share out right then the broker you deal with cannot lend unless requested.
If you borrow to buy though he can as long as you are still paying them off and the broker does not have to inform the holder.
As for the other rules it does explain it quite well if you google it.
Wasn't aware of the public super fund rule though as you would think your own money bought them in the first place.
The whole thing just muddies the waters even more though.
