i dont think osh has ever given investors a relaxing time... there's been a few times the sp has rocketted, and alot of times when it fell off a cliff, believe me, i've ridden em all since '98... while annoying, the last few months have given us a pretty sedate tight range...
i was wondering who exactly is negotiating with the qld govt re the pipeline - is qal trying to eke out some kind of govt assistance to convert to gas or something? gee, i hope their decision is not dependant on govt support cauz i thought the qld govt would be hesitant to provide financial support to the private sector given it was burnt providing support to companies like aust mag (not that qal is anything like this situation) but also because there's probably gonna be a call on the qld govt's budget with regard to the state of their current electricity infrastructure - the local media has been giving them a caning about it in the last few months.
i was listening to osh's half yr webcast the other night & was hoping someone would ask them a question about the likelihood of losing their current gas contracts if they waited until the end of the year for qal - unfortunately no-one did but i suppose botten has given a year-end deadline so maybe we can assume they would probably lose them if a feed decision was not made by then...
f&kc gas, lets just find more oil. perhaps the png forelands will finally come good in the form of kapul-1... here's hoping...
