    I beg to differ that imposing GST on overseas purchases will have any noticable (if any) impact on MCP

    The breakdown of MCP's sales revenue is:
    Health & Beauty - 39% (mainly low cost items)
    Home Appliances - 18%
    Housewares - 14%
    Household Consumables - 25% (again very low cost items)
    Other - 4%

    None of their product range is likely to be imported via online purchases.

    That aside, if you believe (which I don't) managements last 2014-2015 guidance then the stock is presently trading with an eps of about 16.3c, full year dividend of 10.5c for a yield of 9.5% (before franking credits)>

    My personal numbers are eps 15.3c dividend 9.5c and yield 8.6% - still a pretty healthy return.
