On TV last night, Nicholas Stern was warming to his new role of global saviour and redeemed ex-World Banker (usually on every leftie's hate list). He sopke of the expected 5 degree Celsius temperature increase over the next 50 years or so. Then, not satsified that the gathered acolytes ofthe media had enough of their breath taken away, he sought an analogy to emphasize this. He said that 5 deg might not sound like a lot but even a one or two degree increase in human normal temp of 37 deg would make us very sick.
Huh? I say again: HUH???? What the frug has body temp go to do with climatic temperature??? This is the guy who finally woke the world to global warming??? [I reckon the real reason he's in Australia is because a climate scientist sold him the harbour Bridge and he's here to pick it up]
