I have wondered if we can trace the picking of the company to build the lamp as delayed by some of this. The company that didn't finish within a reasonable period, say 90 days, put is into this position by not being finished for 10 to 11 months, with the election period staring at us.
Nick appears to have too many irons in the fire to have a good realization of what the delay could mean.
