    I had been thinking about the options Nick Garling had and considered that perhaps he did not want to take on the added risk by converting them.

    He has now spent $2.5 million by buying shares on-market at an average price of 48 cents/share. That $2.5 million would have been enough to convert 25 million options into shares, more options than he probably held. Perhaps he got that money from the sale of shares/options to the Chinese (I simply do not know this).

    I am a bit too lazy to check out how many options he held prior to the sale to the Chinese, how may he sold to them and what the total outlay would have been. Again it shows a lack of confidence by him in the company and/or market. The CEO of EVG has consistently backed his company with his own money, including by lending it funds.
