Nick / looking to the future

While this is unexpected, I welcome this news as I believe that this is actually best for both Nick and for Alexium.

Nick can focus on his family. Dirk will be able to more easily assert his stamp of authority and get on with running the company (mostly) free from interference.

We'll be saving money too. We already have lobbyists (Nardelli) in Washington, and I'd think this is an opportunity for Dirk to really reassess how we approach that activity.

I also noticed this little tidbit:

Alexium also announces the planned addition of another Non-Executive Director based in Australia to complement the Board skills and diversity of our current Board.

It's almost as if they read HotCopper! How does one nominate someone for a position?, as I think I know someone who would be perfect. I'd like to think she'll say yes if enough of us ask and that Gavin will agree if he realises that is the best way to get our support.
