I see Glencore came to a loss in its Ni Australia division.
That's strongly linked to cobalt dropping but shows the cost of operating a big HPAL plant for Ni laterite ore.
Nickel supply is relying heavily on Chinese, Indonesian based HPAL to deliver strongly and on time for the first time.
What could possibly go wrong?
I just think there's more to the price action than just Indonesian potential export ban dates.
Showing just how tight the market is in my opinion.
I love the book ' Reminiscence of a stock operator' I think the current saga in Ni playing out would be a great story for this book if it occurred during the authors lifetime.
