i think it is a fair assessment that the "new business opportunities" under review are NOT resource based, otherwise the wording would have been along the lines of "new projects".
the consistent volumes suggest to me that somebodies services have already been engaged to put the two together, and word has probably leaked through to some of the clients or friends of the third party. this sort of thing happens all the time.
i'm with delta on this, a likely pairing right now would be with a tech acquisition, which would also explain why the company is not pushing to further drill just yet.
if they are about to do a LAT (or more recently PIM), they have no reason to waste capital on drilling.
news can't be far off.
