The LME imposed a new daily 1% backwardation price limit yesterday. (The link escapes me atm.)
LME will also implement daily 10% limit-up and limit-down controls upon reopening, which is not expected to occur until Friday. Also, due to liquidity concerns, upon reopening the daily trading session will commence at 9am London time until further notice (i.e. no o/night Asian session).
