I would also like to bring your attention to the chinese failed takeover of Rio Tinto some years back. While that failed as a large purchase, China quietly took over smaller tenements across Australia that make Rio's holdings look small. Why does China have its own major airport built in NW WA sitting basically unused? On land China has control over. China doesnt plan for the next 4 years, but for the next twenty thirty fifty. Controlling worldwide nickel markets is actually not so far fetched. All done " in secret"
