Nickel matt is still an unknown low grade replacement for high grade nickel sulphides. Does it work for battery grade? The number of fires caused by cheap lithium batteries produced in China is its own testimony imo, and could potentially damage the whole market due to risk uncertainty to the buying public. Indo is making money because it has forced the Chinese to invest heavily in processing in Indo instead of Chine. China is happy with that because they can pollute Indo waters instead of their own with the massive amount of toxic waste produced in the matt processing dumped into Indo waters. This is an unsustainable process that cannot continue indefinitly.
