Another good announcement from EDN. The chips are looking better and better and seems that there is more to come when the next test results are reported.

RE: IMBORIDJU PALAEO-CHANNEL FINAL DIAMOND RESULTS

Further to our previous announcements of 27 November and 17 December 2003, processing of all of the sample material from the Imboridju palaeo-channel gravels (Figure 1) is now complete. A total of 3 diamond fragments have now been recovered (Figure 2) from the minus 0.25mm fraction retrieved from a total dry weight of 135.4kg of minus 4.8mm gravel material collected during the October 2003 RAB drilling program. One diamond fragment was recovered from processing of the minus 1.0mm fraction and two diamond fragments were recovered from subsequent processing of the plus 1.0mm and minus 4.8mm material.

All of the pieces are cleaved, clear, colorless fragments representing portions of one, or possibly more, macrodiamonds. These diamond fragments are the first indication that macro-diamonds may be present on the Altjawarra Craton.

In addition, 9 pseudobrookite grains have been recovered from the minus 1.0mm and plus 0.3mm material. Microprobe analysis of these iron-titanium oxide grains is currently underway.

The Imboridju palaeo-channel represents the largest palaeo-drainage tested in the recent RAB drill program. Nine RAB holes were drilled across the interpreted channel along 200m centers with six holes intersecting gravels. Where intersected, the channel is 1,200m wide, with gravel thickness ranging from 3 to 5m. The overburden varies from 3 to 8 metres in thickness and is composed predominantly of unconsolidated sand.

Given the size of the channel, and the limited amount of gravel material collected, the recovery of three diamond fragments is significant. The results confirm the diamond prospectivity of the Altjawarra Craton and highlight the northern uplifted margin of the Central Craton as a priority area for further follow up in 2004. Large tonnage bulk sampling for macrodiamond recovery of this channel is planned for the 2004
    season.

An additional 11 samples from 10 other palaeo-channel gravels are currently being processed with results expected during February.

    Yours sincerely
