Trump era brought some factories back but now the USD$ boom has killed that and many moving out again.
The yanks & euros stoopidly delegated their manufacturing and production to china japan korea asia under the WTO control now they have lost 100M jobs from this since 1970s & are going to suffer even more.
Oz is way cheaper to build in but USA China India are where the markets are.
China India are 35% of the global population.
How many Indians and Chinese are there in your suburb & city today in Australia so far away from their homelands?
While the wests G7 populations are terminally declining, the east is BOOMING.
The lower AUD$ is buffering us here but our higher wages and exorbitant union award conditions make us globally uncompetitive. Wheres the union in communist vietnam to argue over RDOs or smokos, LOL it doesnt exist.
