    You might have to define "meaningless".

    Someone has to deliver the nickel - otherwise something far from "meaningless" occurs - default.

    WSA happens to produce 15,000 tonnes of the stuff every year.

    So to attribute a "meaningless" value as to what has occured to the spot price - is quite naive.
