Hi Simon,

Yes I will comment on Zinc but 1st let me talk about Manganese.

Manganese will do very well in price this year but not only because it is a substitute for Nickel in low grade applications of Nickel but because it is a base metal 1st & a commodity that has has been hammered in the last 30 year bear market.

IMHO Zinc will do well in 2005 but not just because it was the worst(?) performer in base metals of 2004 but because it is something that we all need whether we like it or not.

Basically I'm still very heavy Nickel stocks after getting in over 18 months ago because I still like the the story(i also like cat in a hat).

I like base metals in general & commodity prices after that because world growth dictates that as such.

Commodities have had their 30 year bear market(before 2002) & now they will have their day in the sun.

Are we in the a Bull Market??? Yes I believe we are..

Is it like the Tech Boom??? hahaha not even close.

How many Tech stocks traded on PE's of 8:1??????

I plan on learning Cantonese shortly..

It would be wise if we all learnt the same.

Currently there is NO BOOM in base metals or commodities in general imho.

When it comes,,,

You will want to be long in Commodities.
