You can't tell me the Chinese haven't played a brilliant game with the nickel market. Flood the market with cheap, ugly, pig iron nickel, drive the price down to make other countries nickel producers put their projects on hold or shut down completely, then start to buy the good stuff at ridiculously cheap prices.
I would expect you will see a slow build up of the nickel price from here, now that they have had their fill.
