Nickel Ore Inventories at China Five Major Ports Fall 345,000 tonnes

SHANGHAI, Mar. 9 (SMM) – Total nickel ore inventories at China’s five major ports were 11.43 million tonnes last week, down 345,000 tonnes week-on-week, Shanghai Metals Market data show.
The Port of Lanshan became the only port reporting the increase in inventories last week, as goods booked by one local NPI producers arrived at the port.
Stocks at other four ports continued falling due to no new arrivals and shipment to factories by NPI producers, according to SMM survey.
