Bgt IGO late last year at 209,194,154,118 .... sold out today my complete holding at 229 ( 20k shares ). The nickel price looks like it might go down and test the recent lows ... when IGO was trading at about 1/2 todays price. Nice profit is in the bank. May look to buy back in if I get the chance for 50c-75c cheaper.
PS. Just got back from 3 weeks in the UK ... boy is there economy absolutely knackered ... busted banking system , retailers bid and small going to the wall on a daily basis , 1000's being laid off most days. House prices down 18% in the last 12 months , most optimistic forcast for 2009 is a fall of 'only" 8-10% ... time to take some money off the table for me after an amazing last 6 weeks of 2008.
My total return for 2008 was 24.98% ... thanks to some very well timed purchases in late Oct/early Nov such as IGO,GMG,WPL .... being in the UK for a wee while makes you think cash is definitely king for 2009.
