All of MCR's ore goes through the kal Ni smelter-before MCR opened there Kambalda mines there throughput was approx 100,000T Ni after they came along it didn't change anything(still 100,000Taprox.) other than than the furnace blend which went from 100% leinster/mount keith ore to 70% leinster/Mt.keith 30%kamblda(third party feed) so reduceing Kambalda ore will just change the ratio in the long term NOT the out put therefore having no change in warehouse stockpiles. Pretty much what I'm saying is that from a Ni on the market perspective (if)Kambalda mines closed it wouldn't cause any Ni output reduction just a blend change at the smelter. Kambalda ore is of benefit to furnace chemistry but that's about it. Laterite producers ceasing production such as Cawse Ni, or Ravensthorpe, MRE that will reduce warehouse stocks.
