Nickel rallies ahead of Philippines news
NICKEL jumped by more than 4% overnight as the Philippines prepares to release the results of its crackdown on the country’s mines.

Philippines Environment and Natural Resources Secretary Gina Lopez has made comments this week that she expects to see more mines closed down for failing to meet environmental and social standards.
The nickel price jumped by 4.4% to $US10,101.50 per tonne.
