8 July 2025 – Indonesia is about to make a key decision that will affect global nickel supplies. The government plans to reduce the term of the so-called RKAB – the state production permits for mining companies – from three years to one year.
Indonesia must decide: does it want to achieve genuine market stability through flexible control and protect its dwindling nickel reserves, or paralyse the sector with annual bureaucracy? The answer will have an impact far beyond the country’s borders.

It seems that all is not going so well for our Northern neighbor
They are making moves now for some reason.
I wonder why.
Maybe they know that their Monopoly is no longer a given.
We can bank on the fact that people in high places know a lot more about our emerging monster resource than we barnacles.
There must be a very good reason to sit on that MT Survey data that most likely paints a pretty picture of what lies beneath the sand.
What's the reason?
That is the one question I would ask at the EGM if I could get there, but I am betting that particular question would not get past security , as all questions must be submitted prior to the meeting for vetting.
IMO it is a valid question due to the reported statements made that MTD027 "Grazed the MT anomaly" over 1 kilometre beneath the sand cover , if the data can be accurately interpreted and reported on at that depth just imagine what other anomalies are able to be relied on as "Priority targets"
Who knows ? That state of the art "Belt wide" MT Survey may even have the ability to discriminate the various metals.
Someone knows,
IMO, the only difference with not reporting the Survey and not reporting the Metwork is that "A work in progress" can be used for an excuse for the Metwork.
But in reality the reason for not reporting both is possibly the same.
Once again "What's the reason?" ,most broke microcap explorers will announce an interesting "Rock chip" if they find one.
I don't know anything,
