With the a$ in high 74's that puts Nickel spot at around A$17,500. Shaw's did a forecast based on only A$15,000/t and this delivered a profit forecast up from $5m to $16m for MCR next report.
The a$ dropping has got to be great for the likes of the resource miners even with the Nickel retracement. Given the previous posts on the declining Ni stock levels, will be interesting to watch the micoeconomics take effect in the next few months.
