    “Iron Man and Nickel Mine!?” follows Elon Musk’s tweets about using iron rather than nickel/cobalt for standard range Tesla models, and news that Tesla has become a “technical advisor” to Vale’s embattled Goro mine in The French territory of New Caledonia. It also covers news from China stainless steel manufacturer Tsingshan that it will convert nickel matte for battery use, which caused a tumble in LME nickel prices and sparked further debate about “dirty nickel” vs. “clean nickel”.
