Nickel ended up at $4.8376/lb last week which is 4% up on its previous close. Nickel appears set to return to above $5/lb this week. Nickel stocks at the LME have remained flat for the last 14 trading sessions (the whole of January).
Nickel has jumped to $4.9850/lb in early trading (3PM out time) or $11,166/t (Kitco) or +3.05%
Looks like Nickel will get over $5 tonight and start to chase down the $6 it didn't reach before the last commodities bellyflop of early last week.
Nickel stocks will probably rise eg Albidon is up 5.88% today.
