I had a quick look myself, (Some bedtime reading of Dr Google)..
And on Ya croc, it is the grade of Nickel that needs to be looked into..(As far as battery ingredients go),
And yes HC, the By product of nickel mining is an interesting, and appropriate observation.
Now nickel not worth as much as cobalt - but are we potentially looking at a cobalt mine funded by nickel?..
As mentioned, Mt Cobalt is riddled with Ni and I fully expect it to put in a show with the latest drill results.
even if low grade Ni, there is a huge use for it in Stainless steel esp.(almost 70% of that mined, learned form the internet so it must be true).
Downside, is Nickel is also very Re recyclable.. so this can affect demand, which is good, and in any case, there is still huge demand.
So I need to find out more about grade, mining and refining process... and if ours fits the bill... we might be onto something here..
Fact is, Nickel is money too. we just need to know if its economically viable...
