FWIW: I'm not taking part in the NICO float.
Many reasons. Two more neutral ones:
- not enough detail of plans in the prospectus.
- there will be an amount of Nico held in MLX and (IMVHO) I can cover deficiencies from point 1 as Plans develop.
I'll pursue my Ni exposure from other largely indirect holdings like IGO who are doing due diligence on WSA.
A point I would make is that there two are major uses for Ni:
- in steel making for corrosion resistance approximately 65% of use (at present).
- for batteries etc.
In steelmaking, you can substitute other alloying elements notably Cr, Mn, Mo to get similar properties.
That's IMVHO but I am a qualified metallurgist.
