Note much point arguing with you, mogga, given you're an anti-scientist, and probably don't have a science background - clearly evident from your walk down Palm Beach and your exacting observations. By the way, when was the last time you were north of Cape Flatery? And have you studied the reef below water (not as a recreational fisher). Man, you'd be surprised if you'd studied the northern section of the reef for over 40 years, and the differences I've seen over that period - as a scientist. And if you are wondering - no one gave me a grant and I have never fudged figures. It might surprise you and others to learn that there are numerous self-funded scientist of whom derive their income from published works and have no need to manipulate their findings.
