Some of the the grossly ignorant will argue that some animals become extinct simply because they lost their battle with homo erectus whilst other animals flourished because of homo erectus

I made it obvious to even the grossly ignorant that I was not talking about migratory species. The balance of your responding post resembles the monologue of a Monty Python sketch, and although humourous, is unworthy of debate.
