I was not aware that this was the case, however, the main point is that there are a long list of deductions from gross revenue that, judging by some of the posts here that are throwing around dollars per day numbers, seem to be grossly unaware.
Another point is that the eventual take for the oil companies depends on the ultimate size of the recoverable reserve and therein lies the risk. And thats just what it is , risk.Not bad , not good but risk. As anyone will see when they look at the history of earlier fields in NW Palawan area that prematurely watered out.
