Good point darylle. Think of past politicians like Howard, Keating, Costello, Hawke etc etc who left politics and waltzed into high paying positions or speaking engagements.
Where the heck are people like Gillard, Swan or Conroy going to get a job? Business will shun them. The speaking circuit? Give us a break; we have enough mangled English in Question Time. They're virtually unemployable.
