the definition of chef is 'trained professional'
no one appears to have defined 'trained' - so, one will find that a lot of mums, fathers and grandmothers trained their offspring --
many of the greats ------ who were those two amazing chefs - 2 hungry italians or something like that ------ I remember one of them spoke of his grandmother often
that's training IMO
professional - well - if you do a TV show and get paid for it - guess what - that makes you professional
